Therapy and counselling for anxiety, stress and burnout on the Gold Coast
Lately everything feels like too much. You’re wired but exhausted, snapping at the people you love, lying awake running through it all – and ‘just relax’ stopped working a long time ago.
Therapy is where we slow it down and make sense of what’s actually driving it, so it stops running the show. I bring real clinical depth and training – and because I’m also a coach, we turn that understanding into changes you can actually keep.
Sessions are shaped around you – we might walk and talk through the Varsity Lakes parklands, sit in a calm clinic room, or meet online from wherever you are. We go at your pace, and tailor how we work to what you need.

What therapy with me is like
There’s no script and no checklist. We start where you are, make sense of what’s really driving things underneath, and go at a pace that feels safe rather than rushed.
Some weeks are for untangling the hard stuff; others are just about catching your breath. Either way, it’s one place where you don’t have to hold it all together, have the right words, or be anything other than exactly where you are.
Is this you?
- You’re anxious, on edge, or can’t switch your mind off
- You’re burnt out – running on empty but somehow can’t stop
- Your sleep, focus or mood have taken a hit
- You’re holding it together for everyone else and quietly fraying
- You keep pushing through, but it’s catching up with you
You don’t need a diagnosis, or the right words for it yet. You just need somewhere to start.
I work with young people (14+) and adults. Alongside anxiety and burnout, I also support trauma, low mood, big life transitions, and the weight of cultural or family expectations.

Medicare & funding
Therapy is rebatable through Medicare — and there are other no-gap funding options too.
With a Mental Health Treatment Plan and a GP referral, here’s the short version:
How the rebate works
Book a longer GP appointment and mention you’d like a Mental Health Treatment Plan. Then:
- A GP referral (or psychiatrist/paediatrician)
- Up to 10 rebated sessions a calendar year
- About $112 back per session via Medicare
- Roughly $113 out of pocket after the rebate
- No referral? You’re welcome to see me privately
- NDIS, WorkCover, DVA & Victim Assist – no gap fee
- Not sure where to start? I’ll help you sort it out
Not sure how to arrange a plan? Reach out – I’m happy to walk you through it.
