About Me

Hi, I’m Kiran, and I created The Happy Space as a place for people to feel supported, empowered, and grounded — a space where healing and growth come together. I help individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or held back by anxiety, trauma, ADHD, fear, or self-doubt to find clarity, shift unhelpful patterns, and take meaningful steps toward a life that feels calm, aligned, and fulfilling.

My Approach

What makes my work unique is the integration of counselling and coaching, grounded in real-world experience, evidence-based strategies, and a strong belief in the power of experiential learning.

You don’t have to choose between healing and action. Our sessions create space for both — exploring emotional challenges through counselling, while also supporting you to take practical, empowering steps forward through coaching and experiential therapy.

I offer 1:1 sessions either online or through Walk and Talk therapy on the southern Gold Coast. We can also explore creative and holistic therapies like art, music, and meditation in our sessions — tailored to what feels right for you.

My practice is informed by evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, solution-focused techniques, and strengths-based frameworks, complemented by my professional training as both a Mental Health Social Worker and an ICF Level 2 Coach. Additionally, I am a qualified outdoor guide with extensive experience facilitating experiential therapy programs for both young people and adults.

Why I Do This Work

Having navigated gender, cultural, and societal barriers in my own life, I understand how limiting beliefs can be shaped by conditioning — and how scary it can be to face them. But what I’ve learned is that the other side is powerful.

I spent several years involved in skydiving, even competing with a team that won medals at a national level. What people don’t often realise is that I was terrified for hundreds of those jumps — fear was always present, and I was far from a natural. But something kept me going. Over time, I learned how to manage fear, stay grounded, and shift my mindset, one step (and one jump) at a time.

That experience taught me that courage looks different for everyone. For some, it’s jumping out of a plane. For others, it’s getting out of the house, saying no, or asking for help — and all of it matters. I bring this understanding into my work, creating a space where you can explore your own version of growth, with support that meets you where you are.

Heal. Grow. Thrive.

This is the journey we take together at The Happy Space:

  • Heal – Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, or simply feeling overwhelmed, counselling offers a safe and compassionate space to explore what’s holding you back and support your healing.
  • Grow – Build resilience, self-awareness, and tools for long-term wellbeing.
  • Thrive – Move towards meaningful change, alignment, and empowerment — so you can live fully and authentically.

Let’s Connect

Kai (Sisu Training)

Her understanding, zero-judgement approach made me feel comfortable with sharing my authentic thoughts and feelings with her – and clear my head. As the goals were broken down into small baby steps, it was relieving to realise “this actually is doable” – and sustainable!

Kiran’s ability to cut through the clutter and help me focus on what really moves the needle was invaluable. Her grounded, practical approach brought structure to ideas I’d been sitting on for too long. I’m now making real progress and finally feel like I’m heading in the right direction.

Before working with Kiran, I didn’t really believe in myself and always felt nervous to try new things. She helped me realise that I’m capable of more than I thought. Now I’ve done things I never imagined I could — and I actually feel proud of myself.
